For dealings today. WWII, OCCUPATION and post war GLIDER PILOT grouping for Captain Harry Broman which includes a few manuals including the extremely rare glider pilot technical found for sale at $300 alone, his home front pilots logs, documents about gliders loads and flight, a very rare Lubbock Airfield training school post flying regulation, his 1946 dated ike Jacket before he was sent back to conduct the Berlin airlift with airborne troops carrier patch, his kit bag from wwii, his 50 mission visor cap, his Thai made mess dress from his time being an advisor for their air force, an army official photo of gliders, some of his flight instrument and his footlocker which was a crate for instruments. Condition wise, the visor cap and the jacket both have a few nips but are in good overall condition and perfectly displayable.
Harry was 31 when the war started and he wanted to fly but the AF thought he was too old and glider was the only thing he could do!
Architect by trade, he stayed in the aaf and retired in the 60's. This is a glider pilot collectors dream as many of the manuals and notes are in fantastic shape. We're also including photocopied photos.
