WWII GERMAN ARMY M36 TUNIC
Original 1936 Model Enlisted German Army/Heer Feldbuse. Made by and stamped Kempel & Leibfried of Urach. Size 96 and depot/date marked M39 for München (Munich) 1939. Collar Litzen are the backed type and if the generic branch piping. Shoulderboards are the M36 type and piped in dark green for a rifle/Jäger regiment. Early Bevo breast eagle is original but post war reapplied and goes through the lining. The rank chevron is for Obergefreiter and is of the type more commonly encountered on the Drillich (HBT Drill) tunic. The skirt of the tunic has been shortened and the gussets of the lower pockets removed and sewn down as was very common during the period. Upper left pocket has a set of original award loops. Condition is excellent and displays very well.
