Original Civil War era Springfield Model 1842 musket. Dated 1848 for the year of manufacture. Caliber .69. These muskets saw service in the Indian Wars, Mexican American War and US Civil War. This musket is in all original condition and appears to be fully functioning. Barrel is clean. Trigger and hammer are in good working order. Can be sold as an antique so no transfer is required.
